Lindsay Lohan
In July 2007 after having a row with her assistant, Graham, who Lindsay then fired; the “Mean Girl” hopped into a random car and gave chase to her departing former employee. Only problem being: the car wasn’t Lohan’s, it was already full of people and the actress was already intoxicated at the time. It’s now more than a year later and the guys in the car, Dante Nigre, Ronnie Blake and Jakon Sutter, are suing LiLo: “Their allegations include battery, false imprisonment and that the actress was negligent when she allegedly took over one of the men’s SUV to chase her recently fired assistant. That chase ended when the assistant’s mother called police because she was being followed and led Lohan toward a police station.” Dante, Ronnie and Jakon are asking for more than $25,000 in damages in their suit because they say they were traumatized by the events. Or something like that, I find it hard to understand how three grown men were terrified of little Lindsay let alone battered by her. Though at least someone is willing to shed a little light on the slander issue:

But the first celebrity I spotted was British actress and Tom Cruise’s co-star in Mission Impossible II, Thandie Newton. Thandie is in town to promote her new film, W. She is also currently appearing in RockaRolla, a Guy Ritchie Film. Thandie signed some autographs and chatted with Radioman. Lindsay finally came out of the hotel, said bye to someone in the lobby, rushed straight into her waiting SUV, and was whisked away. After that, her mom Dina Lohan came out of the Bowery Hotel and chats with Radioman while giving him a rose from a bouquet that was given to daughter. This morning I went over to the Today Show to try and get some more footage of Angelina Jolie. Angelina came back to NYC to appear on the show to promote her new movie, The Changeling. I was able to get some great video of Jolie, in a white dress, through the glass as she was smiling while being interviewed by Matt Lauer.
Richard Sylvan Selzer also known as Mr. Blackwell passed away Sunday of complications from an intestinal infection, he was 86. Richard is survived by his partner of sixty years, Robert Spencer. The fashionistas out there will remember Mr. Blackwell as the voice of good taste, who’s list of the ten worst dressed each year was a scathing staple of Hollywood critique from the 1960’s to last year. Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton have earned the honor of a mention 4 times, along with Mariah Carey who Blackwell called a “Shrink-wrapped cheesecake.” Last but not least Jessica Simpson had the privilege of gracing the Worst Dressed List only 3 times. But there’s a new day dawning with the news that two of Hollywood’s most likely have finally flung open their closet doors! Let’s hope that Lindsay Lohan and Clay Aiken’s newly declared homosexual status will disprove some of those old Hollywood fears. Monday September 22nd, when Lindsay took over from her girl, Samantha Ronson, on the “Loveless” radio show one of the hosts who goes by the name of Stryker began by asking LiLo about her reaction to finding out her friend, DJ AM, had been involved in a recent plane wreck where he was horribly burned before putting the “Mean Girl” to the question:
LiLo has spoken out about Palin before, when Sarah’s daughter, Bristol’s, pregnancy was announced. Lindsay called for a little less focus on Palin’s personal life and a little more focus on the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate’s policies. It looks like Lohan has been doing her research and she’s not at all happy with what she found out: “… Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play… Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe? I know that the most important thing about this election is that people need to exercise their right to vote, regardless of their choice… I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the “lipstick on a pig” comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president…” Well it’s clear to see what issues are important to Lindsay this election year! I like this thoughtful Lohan, if nothing else she’s a remarkable example of how important it is to be informed on the candidates and their policies. Unfortunately Lindsay’s forgetting one important lesson; you can’t fight a media hog in with the media, you can only feed it that way.
In the October issue of Marie Clare, Lindsay opens up about the ink she and Ronson recently had done: “Samantha has a bunch of stars, so I got that,” Lohan, referring to a star tattoo on her hand… Then, pointing to a little heart, she says, “she got this… I’m really happy. [Sam’s] a great person. And she’s a great influence on people around her. But I think that anything that’s changed [in] my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it, and I’ve learned to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward.” It’s become a trend with the Hollywood jet set that jewelry is a fickle sign of love which is easily swapped out, but tattoos are forever. So Lindsay going under the needle with Sam seems like a pretty serious sign for the two ladies but if babies are out, where does their relationship have left to go? Marriage might be the answer! Raymond, a featured singer at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, claims that while DJing there recently Ronson announced:
Unless Ronson is hiding some other lady somewhere, there maybe a wedding in our little Lindsay’s future! Of course such a huge legal step would mean that we’d have to come up with a cute moniker for the pair, how’s LiRo sound - too puppyish?
“The Sapphic-leaning star has turned down a $700,000 offer to do an eight-page topless spread in Playboy’s 55th-anniversary issue this January. “If there’s nudity, then the answer’s no . . . She’s not going down the [New York] magazine road again,” Lohan’s rep told Playboy’s creative consultant, Hal Lifson, referring to Lindsay’s naked Marilyn Monroe tribute last winter. Lifson said he hoped to have Lohan do a tribute to ’60s sex kitten Ann-Margret and her film “Kitten With a Whip,” which is one of Lohan’s faves.” I can kind of understand her reasoning here. Those Monroe like shots were supposed to be artistic and they definitely shocked Lindsay’s audience base and got people talking about the freckled “Labor Pains” star again. But doing it all over again isn’t going to have anywhere near the same effect and can’t as easily be called an artistic homage as it can be called unimaginative copying. Still $700,000 is a lot of money to walk away from!
Even the stars are chatting about the Republican nominee and his choice of running mate. Republican, Democrat or Independent, they all have an opinion. Heidi Montag is hurt:
Apparently Heidi’s recent endorsement of McCain wasn’t enough to secure her the position of news stirring Vice Presidential nominee. I wonder why not? Montag definitely has plenty of fame to her name already and thanks to her continuing stint on the hit show, “The Hills,” the Republican Nominee would have been spared a lot of annoying background checks. Of course, Heidi isn’t married to Spencer Pratt – yet – and everyone knows nominees for national office do better if they’re already happily ensconced in wedlock. Oh well, maybe next Presidential election Montag.

For those of you who’ve been under a rock for the last few years, apparently sweet faced little Lindsay Lohan had quite a streak as a little hellion a year ago. Way back in the day when LiLo was out partying almost every night the actress was arrested twice, both for driving under the influence, the circumstances surrounding the second arrest amount to one awesome tale.
Yesterday I hung out in the Lower East side of New York City at the Bowery Hotel, where I was waiting for Lindsay Lohan and then at The Today Show studio in Rockefeller Plaza.
“Dancing with the Stars” had a party at One Sunset, Christina Milian was gorgeous in purple, and Karina Smirnoff stopped to chat. It was Cheryl Burke and Maksim Chmerkovskiy that stole the show, whispering something that them both giggling! Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan put in an appearance together at Il Cielo.
It’s used to be a relatively rare event for celebrities to come out as homosexuals. They tended to prefer staying mum on the subject as long as they thought they could get away with it – which is usually long after everyone else already knows. Take Raymund Burr’s famous attempts to hide his homosexuality all while living with his partner for many years. Stars go through all of this trouble and heartache for the (hopefully) misguided belief that they’ll lose the love of their fans if those fans knew their deep dark secret.
Lindsay Lohan doesn’t say much these days, preferring to stay not-quite off the radar with her gal pal Samantha Ronson. But on Sunday September 14th, Lindsay took to her blog to address the latest scene stealing celebrity on the scene, Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Things have been going great for Lindsay Lohan lately, from her guest spot in “Ugly Betty” to her totally professional approach on the set of her upcoming movie “Labor Pains,” her star seems to be on a steady rise again.
