Peter Jackson set on fire the less glamorous Middle Earth known as the internet when he announced today, via Facebook, that Ian Holm “will be returning as the older Bilbo Baggins” in The Hobbit. He also clarified that a voiceover in the Hobbit trailer that many fans pegged as Holm’s was actually Martin Freeman’s, “taken from a script read through we recorded when the cast first arrived.” Just me, or does Peter Jackson prefer actors with the milkiest skin ever?
