‘Sin City 2 Could Begin Shooting This Year,’ Says Robert Rodriguez

As soon as Robert Rodriguez took the stage at Comic-Con’s Hall H this afternoon, he teased a “bunch of big announcements,” the biggest of which being a sequel to his 2005 crime thriller Sin City. The director said that Frank Miller has already written the script for the sequel, which will be shot in 3-D and “could be shot as early as this year.” The second biggest announcement was that Rodriguez is planning a big screen project based on Heavy Metal magazine.
