Blind Items: I Guess, You Guess
Which A-list leading man who has been paying a lot of attention to his hair recently – would be better off focusing on his nasty breath?
“It is almost impossible not to notice the nasty smell coming out of his mouth. It smells like something died in it,” one movie insider tells Naughty But Nice Rob.
What is amazing is the handsome celebrity has just been spotted kissing his sexy young girlfriend, who clearly has to know – or smell -the problem!
It’s like he spend a night out partying with his friends – that’s the smell when he opens his mouth.
Guess Who? (Naughty But Nice Rob via Blind Gossip)
Bradley Cooper? But I’m sure Sucki Waterhose or whatever her name is doesn’t mind, because he gives her a bonus if she doesn’t twitch her nose and dry heave when inhaling his dirty butt breath.
It looks like this professional athlete crossed the wrong ex-employee.
While the athlete claims that he and the ex-employee were simply “close friends” – and has been denying that they had a sexual relationship with the employee – the employee is not supporting the athlete’s version of events.
The male employee is now telling anyone who will listen, “He loved me like a brother, but he fucked me like a wife.”
He says he has plenty of photos and text

Kathryn Bigelow’s ambitious Oscar contender Zero Dark Thirty started out as a film about the 2001 siege of Tora Bora hunting down al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, but as the Academy Award-winner told a rapt audience at the picture’s buzz-building debut in Beverly Hills on Sunday, it changed direction in one quick, fateful instant.
“At about 10 o’clock at night on May 1, 2011 we realized we no longer had a project about the hunt for Osama bin Laden,” Bigelow said at a packed post-screening Q&A at the Pacific Design Center, “because he was no longer living.”
Bin Laden’s death sent Bigelow and her Hurt Locker collaborator, screenwriter and journalist Mark Boal, scrambling to incorporate the update into Zero Dark Thirty, a tense semi-fictionalization of the intelligence efforts, and subsequent nighttime raid, that led to the death of bin Laden. Folding actual events and real-life figures into a decade-spanning account, Boal’s script relives the dogged, desperate, and often brutal search for bin Laden through the eyes of a female agent named Maya (Jessica Chastain), a fictional composite based on real women who played key roles in the circuitous, years-long operations that sniffed out bin Laden’s Pakistan hideout.
Chastain, who was a lock for an Oscar nomination before Zero Dark Thirty even debuted, owns the screen as the driven workaholic agent whose tireless fixation on a needle-in-a-haystack lead ultimately proves vital to finding bin Laden. She looks a little too great doing it, too — a pillow-lipped, flame-haired beauty who manages to look luminous even when other characters are helpfully commenting that she’s rundown and haggard. (Offscreen, as in her new GQ UK cover spread, Chastain still has to play the glamour game, as most actresses do in order…

A pensive Daniel Day-Lewis turned Abraham Lincoln appears in this black and white poster of DreamWorks’ Lincoln due to hit U.S. theaters in November – actually only days after the 44th POTUS or the 45th POTUS wins the U.S. election. Directed by Steven Spielberg, Lincoln spotlights the 16th President of the United States during his final months in office.
On set, Spielberg revealed that he’d refer to Day-Lewis as “Mr. President” along with referring to all the film’s actors by their character names, ML noted via a report by EW when the first color images of Lincoln appeared two weeks ago. If the sneak looks are any indication, an Oscar-nomination for Make Up and even Costume Design cannot be far off the mark.
A quick look at Lincoln’s actual beard in an actual photo of the President shows his beard to appear less whiskery in the mid-jaw area. And voila, such is the facial hair as it manifests in the Lincoln version of Lincoln.

Though obviously some time before audiences will first see Lincoln, with two-time Academy Award-winner Daniel Day-Lewis as the Civil War leader, more Oscar nominations will likely be in the offing come January. And who knows what Joseph Gordon-Levitt will do as Robert Todd Lincoln (the First Son) and Sally Field as the sometimes maligned wife, Mary Todd Lincoln.
Dreamworks revealed its official log-line for the feature:
Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With

“After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found I could shine.” Twilight’s Bella Swan has gotten a lot of flack for her penchant for passive pouting and agonizing over boys, but in Breaking Dawn Part 2 she finally comes into her own, a fully fledged vampiress possessing newfound confidence and strength. Hey, having a monster baby will do incredible things to a girl. You know this. You watch Teen Mom. See Kristen Stewart come alive — so to speak — in the full teaser trailer.
Breaking Dawn Part 2 also benefits from a few new elements: the international political intrigue and menace of the Volturi who venture Stateside with baby Renesmee in their sights, and the X-Menesque super powers on display as Bella and Edward recruit sympathetic vamps to their side. Oh, and let us not forget Jacob and Renesmee and the love that dare not speak its name! (Imprinting.)

Synopsis:
The next and final chapter in THE TWILIGHT SAGA, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 will arrive in theatres on November 16, 2012. Academy Award® winner Bill Condon directed both the first and second part of the two-part finale starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. After riding train after train and whatnot, Denzel Washington is back navigating giant hunks of careening metal in Robert Zemeckis’s Flight, which marks the director’s return to live-action filmmaking after a decade spent trying (in vain, IMO) to conquer the uncanny valley. So how well do director and star succeed in piquing your interest in a movie about an airline pilot (Washington) who saves a plane full of passengers only to have his heroism — and drinking habits — come under scrutiny in the aftermath?
Below, watch the first trailer for Flight, which boasts a stellar cast surrounding Washington that includes Bruce Greenwood, Don Cheadle, Kelly Reilly, John Goodman, and Melissa Leo. It’s not all that revealing, which is a good thing in this age of spoiler-happy marketing, though there’s potential for some big unknown twist to rock us to our core in the last act.
So what’s there to look forward to? Washington as a normal dude trying to figure it out, I suppose — or as a hero hiding some dark secret, which would be more interesting — and, of course, the sight of Denzel rolling a freaking airplane on top of some houses, or whatever. That should be enough for me. And yet… I’m just lukewarm on Flight. Is there any reason to see it besides the fact that it’s Denzel being Denzel and Zemeckis maybe-recapturing the knack for storytelling on display in his best live-action hits?
Head to Apple for the trailer premiere.

Then again, I am about to get on a flight tomorrow morning, so forgive me if I’m not too juiced for a movie about the one airplane that falls…

The Weinstein Co. has unveiled a batch of new images from Quentin Tarantino Christmas Western Django Unchained, including shots of Jamie Foxx as the former slave-turned-bounty hunter Django, Christoph Waltz as his German comrade in arms Dr. King Schultz, and Leonardo DiCaprio as the evil plantation owner Calvin Candie. But it’s the image of Foxx sidled up to a bar next to Franco Nero — the original Django — that gets bonus points for film nerdage.
Click here for the full gallery of new images from Django Unchained.
Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award®-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award®-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles – dead or alive. Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago. Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (Academy Award®-nominee Leonardo DiCaprio), the proprietor of “Candyland,” an infamous plantation. Exploring the compound under false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen (Academy Award®-nominee Samuel L. Jackson), Candie’s trusted house slave. Their moves are marked, and a treacherous organization closes in on them. If Django and Schultz are to escape with Broomhilda,

After years of foisting dashed-off 3-D — and its inflated ticket prices — on movie audiences, studios may have found their most reliable ally yet in shoring up box office: IMAX. And not just the punch and potential of the brand’s own 3-D, either, but good old conventional 2-D as well.
Call it the IMAX Old Wave. Led by last weekend’s $155 million Hunger Games windfall — $10.6 million of which came from the giant-screen format — more and more evidence suggests that audiences are both showing a preference for IMAX and happily forgoing often-reviled 3-D visuals. Just as important, and perhaps far more telling, blockbuster directors like Christopher Nolan and Brad Bird are making influential use of IMAX technology to augment their creativity. Those results have been roundly embraced by critics and crowds, all while 3-D continues generating negative feedback and diminishing returns. Are the studios finally ready to follow filmmakers around the corner?
Maybe, if cinematographer Robert Elswit’s recent experience is any indication.
“3-D was never a choice for us, so the matter never really came up,” said Elswit, the Academy Award winner who served as Bird’s director of photography on last year’s IMAX-intensive Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. “As for the IMAX decision, Brad certainly decided to go that route, but he was basically unproven as an action director. Having somebody as influential as Tom Cruise supporting the idea meant it was more likely to happen. Once he was completely in agreement that IMAX would benefit the film as a result the studio never fought it – Tom really influenced them to agree on spending the money, and ultimately it was not such a major expense, budget-wise.”
The move underscores both the creative and commercial advantages in turning away…
