This is what happens when your “difficult brown” is once again left lonely and bereft. Sinead O’Conner rolled up to a television appearance in Dublin looking like me on a Monday morning. Roll the fuck out of bed and hope the shit on the floor that you’re putting on is clean. If I end up in a Jesus hoodie, unflattering trashbag pants, a woven Rasta belt, and Amy Winehouse’s “weekend” ballet flats from the estate sale – so be it.
Sinead’s marriage might have ended(?) due to her search for wedding night drugs.
(What was the big fucking hassle for her husband anyways? I’m getting married next fall and I would much rather visit a crack shack on my wedding night then having to do other “traditional” wedding activities. Such as explaining to that willful cunt Aunt Florence that I’ve banned the Chicken Dance from my reception.)
And her face might be puffed up from the anti-psychotics. But she keeps on pluggin’. I admire her ass. I was briefly touched when I figured that the messages to herself that she had written on her feet were perhaps to keep calm during a plane ride. Many people have a fear of flying. Then I realized she lives in Ireland and took a cab to the studio. And then I realized those messages were probably actually meant for her feet because she anthropomorphizes them or they’re instructions for herself when her brown is being transformed from “difficult” to “easy.”
Logan Lerman, arguably our most rosy-cheeked D’Artagnan, made an appearance on a Korean talk show while promoting the new Three Musketeers at the Busan International Film Festival. Maybe the movie’s not so hot, but you’ll see in this clip that Lerman’s cute awkwardness is the best we’ve seen since Jesse Eisenberg (and not as flip). Also, the host steals Lerman’s shoes, and for some reason it’s like watching a trainwreck.
First of all, how many times can one person insist he is shy? And be so right? Secondly, THOSE QUESTIONS. And then THAT SINGING. Concluding with THOSE SLIPPERS. It’s like a version of Contagion where the virus makes you shuffle in your chair and scratch your neck 100 times.

Following his appearance at the Academy Awards back in February, Billy Crystal said that “got a little itchy” to host the ceremonies again. “We’ll see what happens,” the eight-time Oscars MC said during a 20th anniversary screening of City Slickers in Los Angeles over the weekend. “I can’t promise anything.” Ain’t that the truth! Reached for comment by Deadline about Crystal’s possible Oscars return, producer Brett Ratner seemed rather unmoved. “I didn’t see what Billy said. I’m really focused on finishing my film Tower Heist right now. I was told by the Academy that I don’t have to make a decision until mid-September.” Good job getting that plug in, Brett! [Deadline]

Star Trek 2 still doesn’t have an official director — J.J. Abrams has yet to confirm his involvement, though it is widely assumed he’ll be back — but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time to speculate about whether William Shatner will make an appearance. You’ll recall that Abrams had planned to include a Shatner-as-Captain Kirk cameo in Star Trek, but that didn’t work out. (“We tried desperately to put him in the movie, but he was making it very clear that he wanted the movie to focus on him significantly, which, frankly, he deserves,” said Abrams.) Will things be different for the sequel?
Nope. Not, at least, according to new quotes attributed to Shatner. Speaking at the 2011 Calgary Comic Expo, The Shat poured cold water on his Star Trek 2 return.
“I have become an acquaintance of J.J. [Abrams] as of late, but I’m afraid no — no, I will not be in Star Trek 2, I’m afraid.”
Considering Star Trek 2 isn’t really close to going before cameras, that could likely change, but for now: be [inappropriately long pause] disappointed!
