Ides of March co-star Evan Rachel Wood hit the late night circuit last night to push her latest, George Clooney’s political thriller Ides of March, by talking to Jimmy Fallon about… her recent bout of Bieber Fever. Sure, why not? She plays an eager 20-year-old in the film, after all. And in grabbing the mic to perform an impromptu version of Justin Bieber’s “Baby,” Wood kills two birds with one stone by pimping both the Clooney-Gosling Oscar hopeful AND the concert doc Never Say Never. Judge her Bieber-esque swag and stick around for more Buzz Break.

Ever since deranged Dutch filmmaker Tom Six announced that Human Centipede 2 would make his original mouth-to-anus picture “look like a Disney film,” we have been anxiously awaiting video evidence. After seeing this week’s Australian teaser debut, IFC Films has granted us a first trailer for The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence, which has already been banned in the U.K. So guys, hold on tight to your Human Centipede charm necklaces and click through — except for you, Donnie Wahlberg.
First off, how about that reminder of the crisp production value in the first film? Mouth-to-anus binding has never looked this artful. It was nice of Tom Six to provide a quick Human Centipede refresher by re-introducing us to the first ‘pede-stitching madman Dr. Heiter (Dieter Laser) before unveiling his Full Sequence madman, Martin.
In the sequel, Martin (played by newcomer Laurence R. Harvey) is sexually obsessed with the original Human Centipede film and, to quote the British Board of Film Classification, [SPOILER ALERT!] “masturbates as he watches the film, with sandpaper wrapped around his penis.” [END SPOILERS]
What’s even more disturbing is that Martin sleeps on a bare mattress and has a judgmental mother who might be incorporated into Martin’s sequence after he knocks her unconscious with a conveniently-placed crowbar. Will Full Sequence get to the bottom of (no pun intended) the psychological underpinnings of Martin and Dr. Heiter’s fetishes? Probably not. But it will likely provide a nauseating viewing experience that will surely set a new low, even for this franchise.
VERDICT: Shudder!

Earlier this week, the British Board of Film Classification refused to approve The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) for public distribution on DVD, meaning that the British people will not be able to add the gross-out sequel to their home library anytime soon — legally, at least. As disappointing as this is for Tom Six fans, this is not the first time that the UK has banned a film because of illicit content and it won’t be the last. As such, let’s remember nine other films that were prohibited overseas.
Note: Some of the censored titles have since been un-banned in the UK, meaning that Human Centipede fans might one day be able to own the “depraved,” “sexually violent” and “tasteless” sequel that Tom Six has said makes the original look like My Little Pony. Just click here to begin the forbidden fun.

You won’t get away from The Human Centipede sequel that easily. After The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) was banned by the British Board of Film Classification for, in part, presenting “graphic images of sexual violence, forced defecation, and mutilation,” director Tom Six has come out to defend his grotesque sounding horror film. He’s also pissed about those spoilers.
In the press release citing the ban, the BBFC laid out in painstaking detail — with an emphasis on pain — the atrocities that Six planned on showcasing in his new horror film. (You can click here to have a peek, but just know that said details include words like “sandpaper,” “masturbation,” “barbed wire” and “penis.”) Because of those loose lips, Six was a tad disappointed:
“Thank you BBFC for putting spoilers of my movie on your website and thank you for banning my film in this exceptional way. Apparently I made an horrific horror-film, but shouldn’t a good horror film be horrific? My dear people it is a f****cking MOVIE. It is all fictional. Not real. It is all make-belief [sic]. It is art. Give people their own choice to watch it or not. If people can’t handle or like my movies they just don’t watch them. If people like my movies they have to be able to see it any time, anywhere also in the UK.”
Translation: If you loved The Human Centipede, just wait until you see the sequel! Just be careful about all those spoilers.

Human Centipede mastermind Tom Six warned us, and now at least one governing body is taking action: The British Board of Film Classification has refused to certify The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) for public distribution on DVD, citing “the sexual arousal of the central character at both the idea and the spectacle of the total degradation, humiliation, mutilation, torture, and murder of his naked victims.” Well! That was fast. Depending on where you’re at with your meals for the day, read on for the offending details — which is to say, graphic spoilers.
You’ll remember that writer-director Six said the 12-headed sequel would make the franchise’s traumatizing first entry look like My Little Pony. But the specifics he declined to reveal at the time have now been elucidated by the British censors, who have more of a stomach than I ever will:
The BBFC has rejected the sexually violent, and potentially obscene DVD, The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) This means that it cannot be legally supplied anywhere in the UK. The decision was taken by the Director, David Cooke and the Presidential Team of Sir Quentin Thomas, Alison Hastings and Gerard Lemos.
The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) is a sequel to the film The Human Centipede (First Sequence), which was classified ‘18’ uncut for cinema and DVD release by the BBFC in 2010. The first film dealt with a mad doctor who sews together three kidnapped people in order to produce the ‘human centipede’ of the title. Although the concept of the film was undoubtedly tasteless and disgusting it was a relatively traditional and conventional horror film and the Board concluded that it was not in breach of our Guidelines at ‘18’. This new work, The
