An EWWWWWW was heard all around the world a couple of weeks ago when Alicia Silverstone posted a short video on her blog of her doing some Planet Earth shit with her 11-month-old son Bear Blu. Some called her SUCIO and I was more concerned about how our future is becoming lazier and lazier. Children can’t even strain their jaws by chewing their own damn food. In the future, robots will suck the caca out of our bodies so we won’t have to waste any energy on pushing it out. (Actually, that sounds like a dream. Get on it, NASA!)
Anyway, Cher Horowitz was at a Q&A for her movie Vamps at BAM in Brooklyn over the weekend, and of course someone asked her about pureeing her son’s food with her own mouth. Alicia chewed up her response and then spit this into everyone’s ears:
“I wasn’t saying this was anything somebody should do. I wasn’t trying to be independent or cause such a ruckus. I’m very glad that I did it. People have been feeding their kids that way for thousands for years. It’s a weaning process. It’s just a thing that has been going on for thousands of years and I didn’t think I was inventing anything.

At this point, I should just start making posts about everyone who isn’t going to flood the streets of Hollywood with amniotic fluid in a few months. I swear, if Jennifer Aniston shows up with a bump full of baby, we should all quit this bitch and move to Hollywood to work as wet nurses and midgays. That’s where the real money will be at.
So, Alicia Silverstone and her husband of 5 years Christopher Jarecki (the dude dressed like Johnny Weir’s Kleenex above) announced to People that they are expecting their first vegan baby together later this year.
The first part of the year is turning out to be a blizzard of knocked up hos, which means that the end of 2011 will bring us a typhoon of BABY PICTURES!!!! Can’t they just all do a group cover picture of People Magazine in December? Do we really need a million covers of a celebrity touching cheeks with her baby while wearing all white? As If! All of Cher Horowitz’s Clueless Outfits in Under One Minute

Clueless is, without a doubt, the best dated movie of the ’90s. The lingo, costuming, and music are the stuff of time capsules, but the film itself feels like a righteous love letter to the post-grunge era. I revisit it whenever there’s a spare moment. In this new video, we see just how many outfits Beverly Hills teen Cher Horowitz (played with unwavering perfection by Alicia Silverstone) can squeeze into a 90-minute movie. Hint: It’s a lot.
That’s 50 complete outfits. If I had to pick a favorite, I’d go with the yellow plaid blazer with matching yellow vest, but this is like picking between children. I’d sooner offer myself to the gestapo than choose between my Alaia and white Calvin Klein dress.
Also: Shout-out to Elisa Donovan. You did underrated work in this movie.
