The True Blood Season 6 Trailer Brought To You By Vampire Eric's Nipples
Here’s a new trailer for the sixth season of True Blood and what I’m taking away from this is that they’re still trying to make Billith happen, that hussy slut fairy Sookeh pulls in even more hot dick, they’re going to overload the memory box in my brain with even more new characters, Sarah Newlin is back, Alcide is topless (and hopefully mute) most of the time and there’s at least one scene featuring Vampire Eric’s nipples.
After the messy puddle of coagulated blood that was last season, I was hoping that they’d simplify things for season 6 by only showing Eric and Alcide wrestle naked in slow motion for 10 episodes straight.

Just about a month before hitting theaters (and right on the cusp of its theatrical marketing campaign), G.I. Joe: Retaliation has been pushed back by Paramount from June 29 to March 2013 to allow for a 3-D conversion. But director Jon M. Chu and the studio had deliberately opted for filming in 2-D before the 11th hour shift. So why opt for 3-D now?
Last year, Chu was looking at his filming options but swore he’d rather go 2-D than do a post-conversion:
“If we do it in 3-D, there’s no way in hell I am dimensionalizing it. I mean, dimensionalizing can work if you have the time and you have the money. But studios don’t want to put in the time or the money, so what’s the point? There always going to shortcut you, so why put yourself there?”
A year later, Chu spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the decision to forgo 3-D as a filming option:
“It seemed like a natural thing, but I told them, ‘I know 3-D. This is what we need. If we’re going to do 3-D, we’re going to do it right.’ It had a certain price tag to it, and I was like, if you guys are down I’m down, but I do need more time to do it right. And they were about to do it but they cut it just a little bit short, and [I said,] “if you guys are going to cut it short there is no point. Let’s make a movie — let’s go for it and we’ll go all out. And we shot on film, super-35, and I thought this may be one of the last times I get to shoot on film, and it

Finally, Dr. Uwe Boll is making a movie America actually wants to see! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boll will start filming in April on Bailout, his 27th film — a feature-length thriller that follows an everyman New Yorker “who loses everything in the wake of the 2008 Wall Street financial crisis, and who strikes back by killing investment bankers.” I don’t know about you, but I think this one’s got a shot at gaining the cultural foothold that Ollie Stone missed with Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, nein? Forget comparisons to Twilight — will Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games hit Dark Knight-level opening weekend success? So sayeth some experts who peg the PG-13 action pic’s tracking in the $85 million – $115 million range on par with Iron Man, Spider-Man, and franchise sequels usually featuring wizards or robots. What’s more, The Hollywood Reporter cites “insiders” who think those figures are conservative and say the Suzanne Collins YA adaptation could even bank as much as $140 million thanks to its four-quadrant appeal, which would propel it not only ahead of all but one Twilight sequel in the record books, but into the Top 5 weekend openings of all time. Bitch Got Fired: The Bear Grylls Edition
In a pub somewhere in Central London, Bear Grylls has his face underneath a urinal drain in the men’s bathroom and is drowning his sorrows in gallons of piss. Discovery Channel announced today that they are cutting all ties with Kim Kardashian’s golden shower idol, because he has skipped out on two projects he was supposed to do with them. The last episode of Man vs. Wild will air in November. Discovery pissed out this statement to The Hollywood Reporter:
“Due to a continuing contractual dispute with Bear Grylls, Discovery has terminated all current productions with him.”
I hardly watched that mess, but it’s still a sad day in television history. We were so close to getting an episode of Bear finding ways to survive on his own pre-cum for days on end. Now if I want to see a crazy moron lick piss and eat out a soulless, fury beast, I’ll have to start watching Jersey Shore again. No. No. No.

Party Down fans, there is finally real hope: According to series co-star Megan Mullally, a feature film continuation of the cancelled show, about Hollywood hopefuls employed by an L.A. catering company, is on its way with most of the original cast likely to return. Rejoice, and get more details, after the jump!
Spilling the news over the weekend at the Television Critics Association tour, where she was promoting her new show Breaking In, Mullally dropped more concrete details on the film, which her co-stars and series co-creator Rob Thomas have hinted at for months.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mullally says the Party Down film will pick up where the show’s second season ended when it was cancelled by Starz in June of 2010, and that “the entire cast is coming back, with the possible exception of Jane Lynch, who she was not sure about.”
Co-creator John Enbom is currently writing the script, with shooting to commence this spring or summer. Shooting during the spring hiatus makes the most sense, since various Party Down alums have since scattered to other shows.
So, fans — how excited are you to hear of actual movement on a Party Down movie? And is it too early to start planning a double feature movie night with the eventual (knock wood) Arrested Development movie?

Big news today on the Hollywood jurisprudence front, as Penske Media Corporation — which publishes Movieline, Deadline, TVline and number of other premium Web properties — has filed suit against Hollywood Reporter owner Prometheus Global Media LLC alleging copyright infringement.
“The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and requesting a jury trial, is very juicy and makes for great reading,” notes Nikki Finke, who posted the news — along with the actual complaint and evidence of source-code theft in particular — this afternoon on Deadline. Have a look over there (the exhibits are pretty eye-popping), and stay tuned for more here as the case develops.

This Doesn't Look Like Peter Pan To Me
Thanks to that Little Hot Topic Hood mess, that Beastly piece of shit and the dozens of Snow White “reboots,” Hollywood’s latest game is taking literary characters and turning them out for the Twihards to gnaw on before the next installment of Bella Bites Her Lip comes out. And now they’re going after Peter Pan! Somebody stand behind Sandy Duncan before the ho faints.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Channing Tatum, producer Joe Roth and screenwriter Billy Ray are peddling a pitch called Pan (or Peter Pan Begins) to various studios. There’s not many details about the project, but judging by the title it’s safe to say that this is about Peter Pan’s time in the womb or something. THR doesn’t know which character Carol O’Neal is planning on playing.
Now, if this shit was a sequel to Peter Pan (starring Carol O’Neal in the title role) and started right after the forever boy discovers Internet porn and springs quickly out of puberty into manhood, I’d be all about it. It could follow Peter Pan as he makes up for lost times by fucking his way through Neverland. HO SHIT, Pan style. He’d use pixie dust lube of course and they could call it Peener Pan. But since this is Peter Pan BEGINS (followed by The Green Pan and The Green Pan Rises), it doesn’t seem likely that this will be making its way into my Fandango cart.

Ryan Murphy Wants Kings Of Leon To THINK OF THE CHILDREN
Note to musicians who are offered the chance to get their song(s) on Glee: If you check the “will not attend” box on the invitation, you will get a swift “FUCK YOU” to the eyes from the show’s head bitch in charge Ryan Murphy. Just ask Kings of Leon. This past summer, the producers of Glee asked to use one of the band’s songs for an episode. Kings of Leon said “no” and now Ryan Murphy is gnawing at their throats IN THE NAME OF THE CHILDREN!!! In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan says that throughout Glee’s run, he has learned that some parents and kids look to the show as “something inspirational and aspirational.” Ryan wishes KOL would get the pigeon shit out of their mouths and realize this.
“Fuck you, Kings of Leon. They’re self-centered assholes, and they missed the big picture. They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument. It’s like, OK, hate on arts education. You can make fun of Glee all you want, but at its heart, what we really do is turn kids on to music.”
And about Slash’s “Glee

QOTD: Glee Is Full Of Commies, Or Something Like That
Glee’s Chris Colfer not only told the Hollywood Reporter that he is “OVER THE MOON” about their 5 Golden Globe nominations, but then he said that the show is:
“….like the Soviet Union: it’s getting bigger and bigger and I think it has a lot to do with the music — it unites everyone.”
No wonder I failed history over and over again. I did know that covers of Top 40 hits united the Soviet Union! Here I was thinking that vodka rations and Stalin babushka dolls did that.
