Goopy Hates The Way The British Say "Pasta"
Goopy Paltrow tells The Guardian (via Jezebel) that even though she’s a natural-born British lass with a natural-born British accent, her ears curl closed when she hears a Brit saying the word “pasta.” If Goopy ever hears one of her children say the word “pasta” the British way, she’ll wash their tongues out with $500-a-bar soap made from a rare kind of wax only found in special bees who exclusively eat Mānuka honey. That’ll teach them how to say paaaaaah-sta.
“I’ve lived in England for 10 years and the accent is the most beautiful in the world, except for how you pronounce pasta as pass-ta instead of pah-sta. I’m sort of joking when I say this but I really don’t want my children speaking that way.”
I totally get what Goopy is saying. She pronounces Gwyneth as “the most perfect person in the world” and the rest of us pronounce Gwyneth as “a total asshole.” Personally, I prefer the way all of us pronounce it. I’m sort of not joking when I say that.
And that wasn’t the only gem that fell out of Goopy’s talk hole:
“I hung out with Leonardo DiCaprio when I moved to New York. He was vegetarian and he’d talk about how dirty meat is and how bad factory farming is. I haven’t eaten red meat

A new trailer for The Great Gatsby has hit the web. Let’s see if it has all the ingredients of a Baz Luhrmman joint: Hot, youthful actors with well-defined jaws? Check. Eye-popping colors? Check. Settings suitable for an Architectural Digest cover story, even when they depict abject poverty? Check. Iconic period-piece story juxtaposed with hot-right-now soundtrack? Check. Multiple scenes of operatic emotional outbursts? CHECK!
Luhrmann may make cool films, but his cinematic world runs hot. So, it’s amusing — but not surprising — to see that there is quite a bit of screaming going on in this new clip, which you can watch in its entirety at the end of the post. The first example can be found at the 35-second mark when Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jay Gatsby reacts rather emotionally to Joel Edgerton’s needling. (He plays Tom Buchanan.)

From there, it’s a glimpse of the hell of war, as seen once more through the gaping mouth of DiCaprio:

Next comes a shot of Tobey Maguire all dressed up and looking like he’s auditioning for the part of the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man.

A little later, we get Jason Clarke, who was so damn good in Zero Dark Thirty, pulling off a complex running-and-screaming combo.

And then it’s back to Maguire for what looks like a five-vein meltdown….

Put those all together and you get this:

Leonardo DiCaprio Must Be A Majority Shareholder In Victoria's Secret
Leonardo DiCatchAHo is supposedly sexing on his Wolf of Wall Street co-star Margot Robbie, but he was seen doing the halfway side huge with a different blonde piece in Miami the other day AND InTouch (via Wetpaint) says that he’s also got a Victoria’s Secret model on the side. Leonardo has already dated VS models Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, Anne V, Erin Heatherton and now he’s supposedly getting it on with 19-year-old Barbara Palvin. VS should just go ahead and change the name of their VS Angels to Leonardo’s Hos.
A source tells InTouch that 38-year-old Leo is only casually dating (read: daytime fuck buddies) Barbara Palvin and he’s not looking to settle down with one trick anytime soon. The source also said, “Leo loves seeing lots of different girls. He can’t be alone.”
“Loves seeing lots of different girls” and “can’t be alone” is a really long-winded way of saying DUDE IS A TAYLOR SWIFT!
Before Barbara Palvin supposedly rolled around naked with George Clooney Junior, she got on Justin Bieber for a minute. Barbara denies humping the Bieb (wouldn’t you?) and I read somewhere that she’s got a boyfriend and every time she’s photographed with a famous dude the tabloids put them together. Judging by that picture of Barbara Pelvic Exam and

For those movie buffs counting the days until the Dec. 25 release of Django Unchained, here’s an early Christmas plum: A Spanish-language trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s slavery retribution fantasy. Set two years before the Civil War, Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as the title character and Christoph Waltz as the bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz.
After Schultz acquires Django in order to bag a particularly brutal pair of siblings, The Brittle Brothers, they team up to take down the South’s Most Wanted and to search for Django’s enslaved wife Broomhilda, played by Kerry Washington. Their journey eventually takes them to Candyland, a plantation ownd by Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), where slaves are forced to battle each other for sport. If I was a betting man, I’d say a bloody climax ensues.

Re-writing the fate of Hitler’s Nazi Germany was just the start for Quentin Tarantino, whose American South-set spaghetti western Django Unchained, his follow-up to the Oscar-winning Inglorious Basterds, tackles another ugly moment in world history: Institutionalized slavery. But are audiences ready to process the tough reminder of America’s regrettable past that lies not-so-deep beneath the surface of Tarantino’s revenge Western?
Tarantino and stars Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Christoph Waltz and Walton Goggins hit Comic-Con to share footage from Django Unchained, the tale of a slave (Foxx) freed by a bounty hunter (Waltz) who sets off to rescue his wife from a Southern plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio). While grindhouse-esque violence, a bright pop canvas, an oily and evil DiCaprio, and Tarantino’s encyclopedic affinity for the genre have already made Django one of the most anticipated films of the year, deeper reflections demanded by the s-word — slavery — could make Django a real socio-historical conversation-starter.
“When I read this script the first time I thought, this was going to start a revolution,” recalled Goggins, who filmed his part as Billy Crash, Candie’s right hand man, during time off from TV’s Justified. “Not necessarily people in the streets, but an inward revolution. I think it’s going to play a significant part in race conversations. I keep saying this over and over again: Make your dinner reservations now, because you’re going to want to talk after this movie.”
In the film, Foxx’s Django is freed from bondage on the condition that he help Waltz’s Dr. King Schultz hunt down a pair of sibling outlaws, a set-up that allows Django to literally cast off his shackles and start kicking ass in retribution. But while Foxx seems to acquit himself quite while in the first promos,…
