Hulk Hogan Is Opening A Breastaraunt
Florida is the land where PCP zombies eat people’s faces, Christian Slater’s importance isn’t recognized, and true beauty is found. It will now have a state restaurant because prototypical Sunshine State resident Hulk Hogan is opening an eatery. Brooke Hogan must need a job, and personal buttocks masseuse to her father has probably taken a John Travolta-esque turn for the worse by now. It’s going to be one of those places where the waitresses dress like perky whores, and use their tits to distract you from the fact that the food tastes like shit. Hence the term (via The Huffington Post) “breastaraunt.”
[Sidenote - It should be noted that the food at those places is bogus except for the chicken wings at Hooters. Holy Jeezum, those are good. My other fag-o-trons and I often go there just for the wings. We have to use the table tent to shield our eyes from all the orange nyloned cameltoe while we eat, though.]
“Hogan’s Beach” is opening on New Year’s Eve in Tampa Bay, so I urge you to call for reservations now or download some sort of app to do it in case the line is busy.
He told the Tampa Bay Times that it’s “going to be Jimmy Buffett’s [Margaritaville] times 10; Hooters times 10″ with Hulk Hogan shit on the walls like

The Queen! Bond! Corgis!
I know, you’re just here for the Corgis.
At tonight’s Opening Ceremony for the 2012 Olympics (or as I know them as, the 2012 Athlete Bulge Watch), London shot their biggest load by putting THE QUEEN (you should curtsy at your keyboard while reading that) and James Bond together in the same room. I expected Helen Mirren in THE QUEEN drag to turn around when Bond came sashaying in, but it was the actual Queen and she had a line and everything. I hope this leads to The Queen starring in the next Bond movies as a villainess who beats him with her pocket book.
I haven’t finished watching all of the Opening Ceremony, but I’m assuming that instead of fireworks, a naked Prince Hot Ginge came out and did jumping jacks. And I’m also assuming that the musical entertainment was Pete Doherty letting out his crack yodel while Harvey Price backed him up on the tambourine. Oh, and England’s official ambassador of beauty Jodie Marsh lit the Olympic cauldron, right? Am I right? I’m totally right.

Well. Orchestrating a luminous, fiery 2012 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony celebration that somehow managed to combine film, music, live theater, dance, the Beatles, a giant baby, flying men on freaking jetpacks, Mr. Bean, James Bond AND The Queen, Danny Boyle set the world abuzz with his tribute to British culture. While Olympics-watchers process the epic Brit-centric extravaganza, we’ve got good looks at 9 beautifully bizarre moments from the Opening Ceremony. Dive right in to Movieline’s Olympics gallery and revel in the Boyletastic theatrics. Your move, Brazil ‘16.
Maybe I missed the memo and someone out there can explain why so many of the random UK cultural icons in Boyle’s uber-British, at times verging on Gaga-esque mad dance party are words that begin with the letter B? Beatles, Bond, Bowie, (Mr.) Bean, that terrifying baby, the bubble people, Beckham … on a boat!
1. James Bond and The Queen
Her form is impeccable.

2. David Beckham
“He’s on a boat (I’m on a boat)…” etc., etc.

3. David Bowie
A nice segue into the “Starman” segment, and perhaps a visual approximation of what Danny Boyle was thinking at this very moment.

4. Mr. Bean
Instagram waits for no man.

5. That Giant Baby
Homage to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children, or preview of tonight’s nightmare visions?

6. Winged Bicyclists
Great new Olympic sport idea, or best new Olympic sport idea?

7. He Who Shall Not Be Named
If he wasn’t terrifying before, kids…

8. Flying Mary Poppinses!
Shout out to Bert, over in the corner sweeping the world’s largest chimney tidying up after the molten Industrial Revolution rings.

9. FREAKING. JET. PACKS.

DANNY BOYLE’S GREAT BRITAIN IS THE FUTURE.

So did all that MPAA ratings nonsense and media outcry pay off for Bully? What do you think? Lee Hirsch’s film achieved the year’s best documentary opening to date with $115,000 on five screens in New York and Los Angeles — a $23,000-per-theater average that amounted to the best of the week by nearly $10,000 over The Hunger Games. But now that The Weinstein Company has to take its unrated baby out of the doc-friendly megamarkets and into the mainstream wilds, a new report suggests that Harvey Weinstein may be preparing to make the cuts required for a PG-13. Surprise!
Per the LAT:
The new cut of the teen-bullying film, which would minimize in some manner the profanities featured in a controversial schoolbus scene, would hit theaters April 13, when the movie widens to 25 markets, and allow children of any age to see it without adult accompaniment. The film, which centers on five families affected by teen bullying, plays in limited release in Los Angeles and New York this weekend.
The Weinstein Co. denied that changes were being made now but allowed for the possibility in the coming weeks. “At this time, there are no plans to change the film for a PG-13,” Stephen Bruno, the company’s head of marketing, told 24 Frames on Friday. “We are in constant conversation with the MPAA and hope a compromise can be reached.” The MPAA has been steadfast that the existing cut wll not be given anything lower than an R.
Hmm. Where have we seen this before? Oh, right. Also from the LAT:
“I did that on The King’s Speech, and Colin and Tom killed me for it,” Weinstein said,

The industry seers pretty much nailed it: “The Hunger Games opened with $68.25M grosses for Friday’s North American box office, including $19.75M in record-setting midnights. That should make for a first weekend of $140M with upside. This is the highest non-sequel opening weekend ever, and the highest debut single day for a non-sequel ever, and the highest March opening ever, and the 5th highest opening day ever.” Read Nikki Finke’s full report at our sister site Deadline.
