It is now officially documented that Oscar winners Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are Gleeks. “It’s actually the only thing that I watch on television,” Cruz said of Fox’s musical series recently to EW. And while her husband Bardem is already slated to guest star as a “successful rocker,” Cruz might like to visit McKinley High herself. “Once you’ve done a musical you always want to do it again,” the Nine star conceded. “I would love to do more musicals, in TV or film. Just like Slash and Kings of Leon before him, Dave Grohl is joining Team FuckGlee and hitting a cunt ball towards the show’s creator Ryan Murphy for biting at musicians who refuse to let their songs be sung by the likes of Rachel Berry. So don’t expect to see Coach Beiste break out into “Learn to Fly” after accidentally swallowing a tab of PCP instead of Motrin, because Dave Grohl isn’t having it. At the premiere of a Foo Fighters documentary at SXSW in Austin, Dave spit raged into The Hollywood Reporter’s tape recorder when Glee’s name came up:
“It’s every band’s right, you shouldn’t have to do fucking Glee. And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we’re not, like, begging to be on his fucking show… fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.
I watched 10 minutes. It’s not my thing
The Glee guy, what a fucking jerk. Slash was the first one. He wanted to do Guns ‘n’ Roses and Slash is like, ‘I hate fucking musicals. It’s worse than Grease.’ Then [Murphy's] like, ‘Well, of course he’d say that, he’s a washed up ol’ rock star, that’s what they fucking do.’ And then Kings of Leon say, ‘No, we don’t want to be on your show.’

Note to musicians who are offered the chance to get their song(s) on Glee: If you check the “will not attend” box on the invitation, you will get a swift “FUCK YOU” to the eyes from the show’s head bitch in charge Ryan Murphy. Just ask Kings of Leon. This past summer, the producers of Glee asked to use one of the band’s songs for an episode. Kings of Leon said “no” and now Ryan Murphy is gnawing at their throats IN THE NAME OF THE CHILDREN!!! In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan says that throughout Glee’s run, he has learned that some parents and kids look to the show as “something inspirational and aspirational.” Ryan wishes KOL would get the pigeon shit out of their mouths and realize this.
“Fuck you, Kings of Leon. They’re self-centered assholes, and they missed the big picture. They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument. It’s like, OK, hate on arts education. You can make fun of Glee all you want, but at its heart, what we really do is turn kids on to music.”
