Pop the barley wine and holler at John Travolta to put on his celebratin’ chaps, because Scientology’s sweetheart and the voice of Bart Simpson Nancy Cartwright still has a job and will be able to pay her monthly membership fees to worship at the altar of L. Ro. Tommy Girl doesn’t need to send his goons to threaten Nancy that if she doesn’t cough up the dough she’ll sleep with the Thetans tonight.
The entire main cast of The Simpsons were in a negotiation war with FOX, because the network wanted to cut their salaries by 45% and refused to give them a cut of the profits. FOX said that due to falling ratings they just couldn’t afford to produce episodes with the current budget. The cast, who reportedly made $8 million a season each, agreed to take a major pay cut but wanted a piece of the profits. They all pulled out their dicks and have been sword fighting for days and Entertainment Weekly reports that an agreement was reached yesterday.
FOX announced that the entire cast has signed on for two more seasons which means there will be new episodes of The Simpsons until 2014. It will celebrate its 25th season in 2014. Fox wouldn’t say if the cast took a cut or is getting some of the profits, but Homer did say, “Woo

So I’m going through these pictures of LeAnn Rimes with her partner in squintery Eddie Cibrian squinting at an ESPY’s pre-party, and I wanted to remember what she looked like before she survived only on a diet of married dick and Brandi Glanville’s cloned genes. I went all the way back into the 1900s and pulled out the glorious topaz gem on the left (duh) from 1997! Now THAT is a look I can promote.
In case you couldn’t already tell, the answer to my headline question is a heavily hair sprayed THEN!!!! The LeAnn of 1997 was a 15-year-old who got up an hour before everybody else in the house so that she could tease her hair in front of the bathroom mirror (with a picture of Tina Yothers taped onto it) until the wave on top of her head resembled a decapitated swan head. That was a girl who appreciated all the colors in the Wet ‘N Wild rainbow and wasn’t afraid to dance along it with her lips. That also was a girl who told her friends that she was styled by Charlotte Russe personally and they probably believed her.
The LeAnn of today looks like an emaciated salamander in a Cache dress and that’s a damn shame.
TLC has run out of BABIES!!!, little people, cupcakes and wedding dresses to throw at us, so now they are sending us a hurricane of WIVES!!! Okay, Sister Wives has a lot of babies in it, but it mostly focuses on some dork named Kody Brown (I rest my case) and his 3 (going on 4) wives in Utah.
While watching this mess of a preview, my first thought was that the Tina Yothers-looking wife at the 0:27 mark really knows how to wear a 90s nurse’s smock. And then my second thought was that once Kate Gosselin’s shows get taken out back, she’s totally going to cross over into this shit by becoming Kody Brown’s fifth wife.
Or maybe Jon Gosselin will become so hard up for a check that he’s going to tuck it in and stick his titties out to become Kody’s fifth wife. Yeah, that’s probably how it’s going to play out.
